-----Part one: The Killing of a Leader-----

You may think; why are we here? Why do we exist in the universe?? That is what I ask each day. Oh, how rude of me!! I just started talking without an introduction! Hi, my name is April O'Neil. I am a Fire Opal of Kraang Prime's court.
Kraang Prime is one of the four major leaders that we follow. Each leader has his own army, and they are filled with different types of gem soldiers. I am one of the many fire opals, or Aprils, that are healing fighters. And we can easily heal ourselves and or others in a battle or just due to sparring against one another. There is tons of me, but they have been apart of different leaders, like Shredder or Lord Dregg, for example. We all been separated and assigned to different leaders. 
There is also a Donatello, each leader is required to have one as a servant, including a high ranking gem like a Laura, a Kameko or a Karai. But the more I think about this way we live life, and what we do to planets.... You see, we invade multiple planets to colonize and make our own sort of way to live. Yet, it feels wrong to me.... My leader was assigned to make Earth a passage way for gems to have a "rest stop". However, Prime has been seeking humans for a " zoo"... Which might be something werid and strange for humans..... I didn't like where it was going, not one bit.
"My grand clarity;" a voice said from behind me. I turn to see Prime's Donatello, he was a cute looking green spinel, for a turtle. I smiled. "May I enter?"
"You may, Donatello." I said. He entered. And I got up from my seat, and closed my journal. It was originally supposed to be used to keep track of those who were injured or shattered. But it is so handy for keeping my thoughts and feelings in, I couldn't help myself.
"May I ask, what are you writing in the journal?" He asked.
"Just trying to get emotions out, that is all." I replied and he frowned a bit.
"Weren't those used to log on injured gems?" 
"Yes, but I preferred to use it in a different way." I said.
"Alright, Kraang Prime has requested for you, Your grand Clarity." He said as he bowed.
I nodded and left my room, then Donatello followed. We walked down the hallway to Prime's throne room. It was a pretty long hallway, if you asked me. However, there was a beautiful scene of the Earth and its glory. I always wondered what it is like on the planet itself. I have never left the moon, I was always required to stay here for Prime. Which felt unfair to me, I sighed as I stopped to look at the scenery.
"Grand clarity, are you alright?" Donnie asked me. I turned to him with a sad smile.
"I am okay, I guess." I said, then paused. He has been to earth with Prime many times before to collect humans for the zoo. Maybe he could tell me how it is there on the planet. "Donnie?"
He looked up at me, startled and had a red face. "Y-yes, my grand clarity?"
I smiled again at him. "You know you can call me April, right?"
"Yes, however it is not proper, especially with a gem like you with high standards to follow." He said, and I was a bit shocked.
Then he bowed immediately for forgiveness. "Please accept my apology, April. I didn't mean to insult you like that!"
"Donnie, it is quite alright. I hate it when someone sees me as just an assistant for Prime, and not for who I am." I said as I lifted his head with my finger under his chin. "To be honest, you are the only friend that I have here."
He turned a much darker red as he took ahold of my hands. We were in a long trance for a moment. Then I too began to feel my cheeks were getting red as he began to cup my cheek. I soon felt as I was going to lean in to kiss him when we heard a yell from Prime's throne room.
"Donatello!!!" Prime shrieked. "Where is the April I have requested for you to get??"
Don grabbed my hand and we quickly ran to the throne room. And, unfortunately, he didn't let go before we entered. Which made Prime angry about this.
"Care to explain why April is late, Donatello?" He said as he flipped through some notes that he had.
Don bowed his head and began to speak when I stepped in. "It was my fault,  my lord." I said and his eye only moved to look at me. "I was just viewing the earth, to see if anyone was leaving and I must've forgotten the time again."
"April, do you know what happens to gems that decided to break one of the rules?" Prime asked as he risen from his seat. I knelt down and bowed my head. This wasn't the first time I got off track. And this is the last time he'll take it. He summoned his sword to his hand and prepared for striking position.
"It was a shame, you have really proven yourself worthy O'Neil." He said a a tear rolled down my cheek. Just about the moment when he was going to strike, I heard metal knocking out his weapon. I looked up to see Donnie, with his staff at ready.
"Donatello! What is the meaning of this??" Prime yelled.
"You will not lay one finger on her, YOU HEAR??" Don yelled as he spun his weapon and charged at him. "And if you do, you'll have to get through me first!!" I was completely shocked at what Donnie's doing... for me! He was doing all types of rewiring to the metal part of Prime's suit with the blade of his weapon. And Prime through Donnie against a wall when Don wasn't focusing. He landed face down to the floor, just as Prime's suit came undone.
Prime screeched in pure anger. "This is an act of treason!!! You shall be shattered for this!!!!!!"
I ran up from behind, grabbed Donnie's weapon and yelled a battle cry. Prime looked at me, only to...to.... be shattered..... 
Prime fell over, showing no sign of any pulse. Then his body vanished into a big pinkish cloud, leaving the shattered gem to fall to the floor. I killed a leader...... I killed a leader...I thought as I dropped the weapon. My whole body was shaking. Donnie rushed to my side as I nearly fell. 
"I killed him...I killed Prime...Home world would want my gem!!!" I began to panic. But Donnie pulled me into a hug. I let a few tears fall on his shoulder.
"It is okay, April.... There is nothing we can do now...." He whispered.
Then, the door opened, revealing a Mona Lisa soldier. Oh no, this one...she was made perfectly than the other Dalmatian Jaspers!!!! Specially for Kraang Prime!!! I thought.
"My lord, is everything al-!!!" She stopped as she saw me, Donnie and the shattered gem of Kraang Prime. Her eyes widened, then turned dark. Her tail, flicking angrily behind her. "You will pay for shattering one of the four leaders!!!! TRATIORS!!!!!" She summoned her laser sword to her hand.
Don stepped in front of me, I placed my hand on his shoulder as I summoned my own weapon. 
"You don't need to do this Donnie." I whispered.
"I am here to serve and protect you, April. I would die before they would ever get to you." He whispered back, making me blush.
As Donnie began to fight, Mona froze. We see a green katana in her abdomen. She poofed to smoke like Prime. Her gem was caught by a hand belonging to a Jade Quartz, a Hannah. She was breathless, she looked at us.
"So, Prime is dead, huh?" She asked and we nodded. She smirked. "C'mon, an Space Eye is ready for an escape." 
We smiled as we followed Hannah to the pod as the alarms blared. We all got in and Hannah got to the controls. She made the location to Earth, just before soldiers were deployed. We breathed out in relief.
"Why...are you helping us?" Donnie asked.
"I never liked Prime for his idea to Teraform the earth, oh, April. Thought that you would want this." She said as she hand my journal. "Never seen you without it."
"Thank you. We should start our own alliance. I would love it to be called The Crystal Turtles. I have heard that there is many turtle species on Earth that would be nice to see. What do you guys think?" I asked.
Don was blushing. "It is a not of a stretch, but it can work. I like it." He stuttered.
"So don't I." Hannah said then she pit her hand in the middle, Don and I agreed placing our hands in the middle with her. "For Earth!"
"For Earth!" We both said.
I looked back put to the moon, there is no going back to the past, only a future worth adventuring and protecting ahead.....
